The strikes on the "AnnaNefteprodukt" fuel storage base near the village of Anna in Voronezh oblast, russia, on the night of October 4, were carried out by Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) drones. This was reported by the Interfax-Ukraine news agency on October 4, citing its own source.
"In addition to active work on russian airfields, missile and guided bomb storage facilities, the SBU has not forgotten about oil depots in enemy territory. They are an important logistical component of the war", - the source is quoted as saying.

The source also reported that enemy air defense was actively, but unsuccessfully, operating in the area of the base. Local residents and social media reported five powerful drone strikes, after which a large fire broke out.

The mission was accomplished by the Security Service of Ukraine in coordination with other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces", - reported the General Staff regarding the strike.
