The enemy struck near the Starokostiantyniv airfield in the Khmelnytskyi oblast with a Kinzhal missile on the morning of October 7. This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Telegram.
"One of the three Kinzhal missiles hit the area of the Starokostiantyniv airfield in the Khmelnytskyi oblast", - the statement said.
It was specified that around 8:20 a.m. on October 7, the enemy launched three Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from three MiG-31K aircraft from the airspace over the Tambov oblast (the departure airfield was Savasleyka).
The head of the Khmelnytskyi Oblast Military Administration, Serhiy Tiurin, noted on his Telegram channel that during the air raid alert in the morning, air defense forces in the region shot down one enemy Shahed UAV. Moreover, according to him, the enemy attacked the Khmelnytskyi oblast with missiles.
"There were no hits on civilian or critical infrastructure. As of now, no reports of injuries or deaths have been received. No fires were recorded", - Tiurin wrote.
