Since its launch two years ago, the state project "I Want to Live" has received 40,157 inquiries from russians, and this number continues to grow despite opposition from russian security services. This was reported by the Unified Center for the Reception of Applications from russian military personnel regarding surrender through the "I Want to Live" Telegram channel.

"Regardless of the situation on the frontlines, voluntary surrenders and evacuation operations for russian servicemen across the frontlines are consistently conducted by our operatives. On average, every two days we bring representatives of the russian Armed Forces to the Ukrainian side", - the statement said.

The "I Want to Live" project is a guarantee of life for those russians whom the kremlin regime forces to choose between dying under Ukrainian fire or being erased by their own for refusing to die.

"Confidentiality is guaranteed. You will be registered as captured in battle, becoming one of the thousands of prisoners of war. However, unlike others, you will be able to stay in Ukraine. You will not be included in exchange lists unless you personally request it. You can sit out the war under normal conditions, rather than dying senselessly on the front or ending up in a russian prison, and afterward, you will be able to return home", - the Unified Center for Applications from russian Military Personnel for Surrender noted.

As reported, "I Want to Live" is a state project designed to help russian military personnel safely surrender. It was launched in August 2022.
