As of October 14, 15 residents remain in the territory of the Luhansk oblast controlled by Ukraine, according to Artem Lysohor, head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, who shared the information on air of Pershy TV channel on October 14.
"There have been no casualties. Fifteen people remain who refuse to evacuate", - Lysohor stated.
He noted that heavy shelling of the de-occupied villages in the Luhansk oblast, including with rocket artillery, has been ongoing for two weeks.
"They are constantly hitting with 'Grads' and using a large number of FPV drones", - the OMA chief explained.
Lysohor emphasized that the russians aim to destroy the logistical routes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and are targeting areas where people may be present.
He also mentioned that the russians have intensified efforts to capture the de-occupied villages in the Luhansk oblast, resorting to ground operations, including attempts to enter the villages on foot.
Regarding the evacuation of civilians, Lysohor indicated that a procedure has been established to evacuate them with the help of the military as soon as someone expresses the desire to leave.
"Three people have already left this way", - he added.
However, the 15 people remaining in the villages continue to refuse evacuation.
