Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is traveling to Brussels on October 17, where he will present Ukraine's Victory Plan at a special European Council meeting. The President announced this on Telegram.
"Currently I am on the way to Brussels. There will be a special European Council meeting at the leaders' level. I will present the Victory Plan—our tool for compelling russia to peace. All European leaders will hear how to strengthen our positions. We need to end this war justly", - the President noted.
"I thank Charles Michel, President of the European Council, for inviting Ukraine to participate. There will also be meetings in the European Parliament—with President Roberta Metsola and the heads of political groups in the Parliament. I will meet with Mark Rutte and the NATO Secretary General. We are also preparing for the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting at the defense ministers' level. The main priority is to secure more protection for Ukraine now, before winter", - Zelensky emphasized.
