Russian occupiers have begun inventorying real estate in the Luhansk oblast. This was reported on October 17 by the "LNR government" Telegram channel, citing Denis Gedzeruk, head of the occupation administration's "Rosregistry for LNR".

"We have launched a major project. Our task is to promptly conduct an inventory of real estate in the region. This work will allow us to fill the EGRN (russian Unified State Register of Real Estate - OstroV) with complete and accurate information about the properties", - Gedzeruk is quoted as saying.

It is emphasized that "the republic has started a large-scale inventory of real estate in accordance with Putin's directive". The inventory begins with the occupied Stanichno-Luhansk district, where the occupiers plan to survey 100,000 real estate properties by the end of this year.

The inventory is being carried out by specialists from the "republican branch" of the russian public law company "Roscadastre", together with collaborators from the "Rosregistry for LNR", the so-called "Ministry of Property and Land Relations of the LNR", and local occupation administrations. Additionally, the occupiers are conducting an "analysis of documents confirming property rights".

Earlier reports indicated that the "LNR authorities" had identified more than 500 "ownerless" houses and apartments in the occupied Luhansk oblast. A Luhansk collaborator explained to the owners of "ownerless" housing that "highly qualified russians", large families, and orphans would be settled in their apartments.
