Russia launched 2,638 strikes on the Donetsk oblast in the past day: one person was killed, two were injured, and 10 civilian objects were damaged. This was reported on October 18 by the regional police and the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration.

The enemy attacked seven settlements: the cities of Kurakhove, Lyman, Siversk, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, the villages of Kurakhivka and Zvirove. Ten civilian objects were damaged, including eight residential houses.

Kurakhivka was hit by artillery, resulting in the death of a civilian. In Kurakhove, the enemy used a guided FAB air bomb and artillery, causing injuries and damaging at least one private house.

In Chasiv Yar, a civilian was injured by an enemy drone. In Lyman, the occupiers dropped two FAB-250 bombs, leading to damage to an apartment building, a private house, and a garage.

In Siversk, russian forces hit with an FAB-250 air bomb and artillery, damaging two private houses and an educational institution. In Zvirove, two FAB-250 hits resulted in damage to three private houses.

Over the past day, 164 people, including 24 children, were evacuated from the front line.
