Sweden is joining the IT coalition, with the relevant declaration signed by Swedish Defense Minister Pål Jonson on October 18. This was reported by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on the ministry's Telegram channel on October 18.
"Sweden is joining the IT coalition and strengthening its support for Ukraine. The declaration was signed today by Swedish Defense Minister Pål Jonson. This is an important step in enhancing our cooperation" , - the statement said.
Umerov noted that Sweden continues to provide military assistance, specifically working on transferring two long-range radar aircraft to Ukraine.
"We also discussed with Mr. Jonson the possibilities of strengthening Ukraine's Air Force and training one of our units. In addition, Ukraine is interested in developing cooperation in areas such as telecommunications and collaboration with Swedish defense companies. This opens new prospects for joint work in the future", - Umerov added.
