On the night of October 21, russian drones attempted to strike the capital, but the drones posing a threat to the city were neutralized. This was reported by Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, on Telegram.

"At night, russian drones once again tried to strike the capital. The air raid alert in Kyiv lasted more than five hours. Russian UAVs approached the city from different directions. However, all components of the Defense Forces managed to neutralize all the drones, approximately a dozen enemy UAVs threatening the city", - the statement said.

As a result of the russian drone attack on Kyiv, debris fell in the Dniprovskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Solomianskyi districts of the city.

In the Dniprovskyi district, an electrical cable was reportedly damaged. There have been no reports of casualties.

In the Holosiivskyi district, a residential apartment building sustained partial wall damage and broken windows. There were no structural damage or fires, and no injuries were reported.

In the Solomianskyi district, falling debris caused a fire on the roof of a single-story residential house. The fire was localized, and one person was injured; the man sustained facial burns but refused hospitalization.
