The video, which shows the arrival of North Korean soldiers at a military base, was geolocated by ASTRA. It appears to be military unit 44980 of the 127th Motorized Rifle Division in the village of Sergeyevka, Primorsky Krai, russia.
"They’ve arrived from North Korea, our allies. I hope this war ends here", - says the person filming the video, speaking in the Yakut language. The barracks complex shown in the footage is the newest in Primorsky Krai, having opened in July 2022.
As previously reported, North Korean officials deny the participation of their soldiers in the aggression against Ukraine. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Medvedev claims that cooperation between the two totalitarian regimes does not pose a threat to third countries.
