Nearly 2,500 shellings were recorded in the Donetsk oblast over the course of a day, with several injuries reported. This was announced by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, and the regional police on Telegram on October 24.

"On October 23, russians injured four residents of the Donetsk oblast: in Lyman, Kostiantynivka, Selydove, and Kurakhove", - Filashkin wrote.

The police noted that 2,456 enemy shellings targeted both the front line and residential areas. Eight settlements came under fire, including the cities of Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Rodynske, Selydove, and the village of Novoukrainka.

A total of 22 civilian structures were damaged, including 18 residential buildings. In Lyman, the russians dropped a FAB-250 bomb, injuring a civilian and damaging two apartment buildings.

Kostiantynivka was shelled with artillery and a drone, resulting in one person being injured and damage to two apartment buildings, a boiler house, and two vehicles.

In Kurakhove, russia struck with four FAB bombs, injuring a civilian and damaging five apartment buildings and an administrative building.

In Selydove, a civilian was wounded as a result of artillery shelling.

In Myrnohrad, the enemy attacked with a FAB-250 bomb, damaging or destroying seven apartment buildings.

In Pokrovsk, a russian bomb hit a residential area, damaging two houses and a gas pipeline.

"From the front line, 199 people were evacuated, including 15 children", - Filashkin added.
