The Ministry of Internal Affairs has reported that the russian forces struck Kupiansk with a 1.5-ton ODAB-1500 aerial bomb on October 24, resulting in an increase in the number of victims to nine.

According to Oleh Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, the injured individuals are between the ages of 40 and 71, with four hospitalized. One of the hospitalized victims is in serious condition, while the other three are in moderate condition.

The airstrike occurred near a store in a local market, where civilians were present. The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that police officers assisted rescuers in evacuating people from the rubble and providing aid.

The explosion caused partial destruction of a two-story building in the market, damaged 12 retail kiosks, a kindergarten, several residential buildings, and an administrative structure.
