Putin expressed his readiness for "reasonable compromises" regarding ending aggression against Ukraine in an interview with a propaganda outlet. However, the announced willingness to negotiate with Ukraine is clearly manipulative, as in the same interview, he stated that "any outcome of the Ukrainian crisis should benefit russia".
"I speak plainly, without any hesitation. And I must proceed from the realities unfolding on the battlefield. And, without a doubt, we are not going to make any concessions here", - said the russian dictator.
The refusal to make concessions contradicts the very idea of compromise, as compromise entails an agreement based on mutual concessions.
