Russian forces carried out 2,988 attacks along the front line and residential areas of the Donetsk oblast in the past 24 hours, according to the regional police report on October 28.

"Enemy shells hit six settlements: the cities of Kostiantynivka, Myrnohrad, and the villages of Malynivka, Markove, Oleksiivka, and Uspenivka. Forty-five civilian structures were damaged, including 35 residential homes", - the statement said.

In Uspenivka, the russians attacked with artillery, injuring a civilian and damaging six private houses. Kostiantynivka was struck with six FAB-250 bombs and artillery, resulting in damage to an apartment building, 10 private houses, an administrative building, a gas pipeline, and power networks.

In Myrnohrad, the enemy dropped an FAB-250 aerial bomb, damaging six apartment buildings and 11 private houses. In Markove, a bombing damaged an educational institution.

Additionally, at 5 a.m. today, the aggressor shelled Starodubivka, damaging two civilian vehicles; no casualties have been reported so far.

The report also mentions that, over the past day, the police evacuated 68 people, including 15 children.
