A russian strike on Kryvyi Rih late in the evening on October 28 killed one person and injured 14, with over 20 residential buildings damaged. This was reported on the morning of October 29 by the head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

“Fourteen people were injured in the missile strike on Kryvyi Rih. Ten of them were hospitalized, with one in critical condition. The others are in moderate condition. Sadly, the life of a 39-year-old man was taken by the attack”, - the OMA head stated.

According to Lysak, a fire broke out after the impact but was extinguished by emergency crews. The city suffered damage to 11 apartment buildings, a clinic, a school, and an administrative building. Twelve garages were destroyed, and another 10 were damaged. A gas pipeline was also hit.

Head of the Kryvyi Rih Military Administration, Oleksandr Vilkul, stated: “As a result of the strike, a three-story building was nearly destroyed, over 20 residential buildings were damaged (including windows, roofs, residents’ property), as well as a medical facility, school, garages, business sites, stores, and office spaces... The gas pipeline was also broken, causing a fire that was extinguished by 1:30 a.m., although two residential buildings remain without gas. The search and rescue operation is complete, but all public services are working on-site to address the damage”.

Serhiy Lysak added that the aggressor also attacked Nikopol district with Grad rocket launchers, artillery, and kamikaze drones, hitting Nikopol, the Pokrovsk, Myrove, and Chervonohryhorivka communities, damaging infrastructure, a gas station, a private house, and a gas pipeline. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
