On the morning of October 29, a drone attack targeted the russian Special Forces University in Gudermes, Chechnya, setting the building on fire, according to a Telegram post from Chechnya’s leader, Ramzan Kadyrov.
“This morning at 6:30 a.m., in Gudermes, a drone airstrike ignited the roof of an empty building on the grounds of the Russian Special Forces University. There were no casualties or injuries. The fire has been extinguished”, - the post states.
It was noted that “investigative authorities have launched an inquiry into the incident and are identifying those responsible for the crime. The University’s operations have not been suspended, and all services are functioning as usual”.
