A russian drone strike in Kyiv caused debris to fall in the Solomianskyi district, sparking a fire in a multi-story residential building, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration and Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.
The fire affected the second and third floors of a nine-story building, covering 40 square meters before it was extinguished. Eighteen people were evacuated, and 30 others were moved outdoors. One individual was rescued, and nine people, including a child, were injured.
Additionally, a fire broke out in an eight-story administrative building, which has also been put out.
In total, 65 firefighters and 14 fire-rescue units responded to the scenes.
