Maria Lvova-Belova, the russian children’s ombudsman wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC), visited the so-called “DNR”. Local media report that she was in occupied Donetsk, where she inspected a new building at the perinatal center and advised on “guiding troubled children”, suggesting “not only punitive measures”.

Lvova-Belova also recalled that in 2022, at the request of the “DNR” head Denis Pushilin and the “LNR” head Leonid Pasechnik, 380 children from these regions were placed in families across various parts of russia.
