Five more residents of the Donetsk oblast were killed due to enemy shelling over the past day, as reported by the Donetsk Oblast Police on their website on October 31.
"Five dead and three injured over the last 24 hours. Russian forces launched 3,107 strikes along the front line and on residential areas. Explosions were recorded in 15 settlements: the cities of Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, the villages of Zarichne, Shevchenko, Shcherbynivka, Berestky, Dalne, Razdolne, Serhiivka, Sontsivka, Ulakly, and Uspenivka", - the statement reads.
The police noted that 36 civilian structures were damaged, including 15 residential houses.
In Druzhkivka, russians attacked with three drones, killing a civilian and damaging a farm. In Zarichne, artillery fire killed an elderly couple aged 86 and 87, damaging six private homes. In Berestky, one person died, and two homes were damaged by shelling. In Uspenivka, a guided bomb dropped by russians killed one civilian and damaged a private home.
One person was injured in Kurakhove, another in Shcherbynivka, and one more in Dalne. Kostiantynivka was attacked by drones and artillery, leading to destruction of two private houses, an outbuilding, a gas pipeline, and a civilian vehicle.
In Razdolne, a double bombing with UMPB D-30SN bombs damaged a private home and a store. In Ulakly, four FAB-100 bombs were dropped, damaging two shops, an educational institution, two civilian vehicles, and power lines.
Additionally, after midnight today, russians attacked Sloviansk and Donetske. Initial reports indicate no casualties, with damage to two businesses and a medical facility.
