The Donetsk oblast endured 2,682 enemy shellings in the past day, resulting in injuries to two civilians and damage to 17 civilian structures. This was reported on November 1 by the regional police and Donetsk Oblast Military Administration.
Eight settlements came under fire, including the cities of Kramatorsk, Kurakhove, Mykolaivka, Sloviansk, the villages of Donetske, Dronivka, Zhovte, and Romanivka. Among the 17 damaged civilian facilities were six residential buildings.
In Kurakhove, russian forces shelled from artillery, injuring a civilian and damaging a private home. In Dronivka, an artillery strike injured one person and damaged a residence. Kramatorsk was hit by two S-300 missile strikes, causing damage at an industrial site.
Sloviansk was targeted by three S-300 missiles and a FAB-250 bomb, resulting in damage to four private homes, a business, and two tractors. Donetske was struck by an S-300 missile, damaging a medical facility and a business. In Romanivka, russian forces dropped a FAB-250 bomb, damaging a farm. Zhovte saw damage to a civilian vehicle following a drone strike.
Police and the Security Service of Ukraine have initiated criminal investigations under Article 438 (Violation of the Laws and Customs of War) of Ukraine’s Criminal Code.
Additionally, the Donetsk oblast authorities report that 247 people, including 16 children, were evacuated from the shelled areas over the past day.
