German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock arrived in Kyiv on November 4, as reported by Spiegel.de.
"For nearly a thousand days, putin’s war has affected the everyday lives of Ukrainians—but not their courage and hope for a secure life in a free Ukraine", - Baerbock stated upon arrival.
According to preliminary reports from the Telegram channel "DW Glavnoe", Baerbock's unannounced visit includes scheduled meetings with senior Ukrainian officials and a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha.
This marks Baerbock’s eighth visit to Ukraine since the start of russia's full-scale aggression. Her previous visit to Kyiv was in May 2024.
