Denis Pushilin, the leader of the so-called "DNR", in a propaganda statement, indirectly admitted that with the start of the "special military operation" (SMO), the normal lives of Vuhledar residents ended, forcing them to relocate to basements. He shared this during a visit to the city "liberated" by the russian army.
“People have been living in basements for two years now: not a single intact building remains. They waited and believed, saying, ‘We knew Russia would never abandon us’. They expressed gratitude for the liberation and asked to send their regards to the President Putin on behalf of Vuhledar's residents”, - Pushilin wrote on his Telegram channel.
As previously reported, the so-called "liberation" of the Donetsk oblast has, in practice, meant the complete destruction of stormed settlements. Following the occupiers, russian propagandists arrive at the ruins of towns and villages, falsely claiming that all the destruction is the work of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
