A decision has been made to conduct a mandatory evacuation of residents from the Volnovakha district in the Donetsk oblast, according to the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration (OMA).

On November 13, the Coordination Headquarters for Mandatory Population Evacuation approved the decision to forcibly evacuate children along with their parents, guardians, or other legal representatives from the following settlements in the Velyka Novosilka territorial community of the Volnovakha district: Velyka Novosilka, Andriivka, Bohatyr, Vremivka, Zelenyi Kut, Zolota Nyva, Konstantynopil, Novyi Komar, Novoukrainka, Otradne, Oleksiivka, Petropavlivka, Rozlyv, Slovianka, Ulakly, and Shevchenkove. The evacuation will take place to safer regions of the country.

The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Iryna Vereshchuk.

According to Oleksandr Shevchenko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk OMA, as of the protocol's signing, there were 174 children living in these settlements, and all have now been evacuated. Additionally, around 1,600 residents remain in these areas.

"The State Emergency Service (SES), National Police, and volunteer organizations are working to carry out evacuation measures. There is an operational evacuation hub, with designated evacuation routes. People can either leave on their own or contact the hotline for assistance", - emphasized Oleksandr Shevchenko.
