In recent weeks, the enemy has significantly intensified its efforts to break through Ukrainian defenses, not only in the Kharkiv direction but across the entire line of contact. This was reported by Volodymyr Cherniak, an officer of the National Guard of Ukraine's "Rubizh" Brigade, during a broadcast on "My-Ukraine".
"This is not something specific to the Kharkiv area; it concerns the entire line of combat engagement", -Cherniak explained. "One logical reason is the approaching winter since it's understood that during winter, combat operations, especially active assaults from both sides, slow down due to the inability to use various types of weaponry, impassable terrain, etc."
He highlighted that FPV drones play a crucial role in repelling these assaults and have become a key element of the "Rubizh" Brigade’s arsenal.
"Our brigade focused on this type of weaponry early on, and it was the right decision. Thanks to these drones, we manage to repel nearly entire enemy assault waves", - emphasized Cherniak.
Separately, reports from russian propagandists claiming that a russian sabotage and reconnaissance group had entered the village of Hremyach in the Chernihiv oblast have been confirmed to be false.
