The russian attack on the city of Hlukhiv in the Sumy oblast late on November 18 claimed the lives of seven people, including a child. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky shared this update on Telegram on the morning of November 19.
“Russia continues to terrorize our border regions. Last night, a drone strike hit Hlukhiv, causing destruction to the dormitory of one educational institution. Currently, it is confirmed that seven people, including a child, were killed in this attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Over ten people were injured, including two children. It’s possible there are still people under the rubble. Every effort is being made to rescue and assist everyone”, - Zelensky stated.
“Every day, we call on the world for determination and sufficient strength for Ukraine to block these strikes against our people. Each new russian attack only confirms putin's true intentions. He wants the war to continue. Discussions about peace do not interest him. We must force russia into a just peace through strength”, - Zelensky emphasized.
