On November 22, russians attacked Sumy using Shahed type UAVs equipped with shrapnel. This was reported by Suspilne citing the head of the Sumy Oblast Military Administration, Volodymyr Artiukh.
"The Shaheds used to strike Sumy were equipped with shrapnel", - the report states.
"This weapon is intended to kill people, not destroy objects. This is the first time such an attack has occurred in Sumy", - Artiukh is quoted as saying.
