Sweden will finance the production of Ukrainian long-range drones based on the "Danish model". This was announced on Telegram on November 22 by Ukraine's Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov.
“We agreed on this with my colleague and friend, Defense Minister Pål Jonson, during my working visit to Sweden. This is another step towards strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, demonstrating our partners’ trust in our military-industrial potential”, - noted the minister.
“We also discussed plans for financing assistance to Ukraine in 2025. We are working to ensure this support grows further and meets the actual needs of our defenders. A separate focus is on equipping our brigades. We are finalizing agreements with our Nordic partners. Thank you to Sweden for its unwavering support, which helps bring us closer to our shared victory!”, - Umerov emphasized.
As reported, Ukraine has signed several agreements for arms procurement with Denmark.
