The World Bank has provided Ukraine with $4.8 billion. This was announced by Ukraine's Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on Telegram on November 27.
"Ukraine received $4.8 billion from the World Bank under the PEACE project. This is the largest investment project in the history of the bank, launched to support our state in implementing reforms, social and educational initiatives, healthcare, agricultural producers, and recovery projects", - Shmyhal noted.
According to him, during the full-scale war, nearly $50 billion has been mobilized through World Bank mechanisms.
"We are deeply grateful to the United States and development partners who fund assistance under the PEACE project. Thank you to the World Bank for its constant involvement and active support of initiatives that strengthen Ukraine", - the Ukrainian Prime Minister added.
