French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Poland on December 12, Reuters reports.
"The leaders of France and Poland will hold talks on Ukraine on Thursday, including the possibility of sending European troops there as a security guarantee in the event of a peace deal with russia, as Europe gears up for the new Trump presidency", - the report states.
It is noted that Ukraine will be the main topic of the meeting between the French president and the Polish prime minister. One of the issues to be discussed is the possibility of deploying European troops to Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire and a peace agreement between Kyiv and moscow.
"Macron’s agenda includes bilateral talks with Prime Minister Donald Tusk, a meeting with President Andrzej Duda, and a visit to the Warsaw Uprising Museum", - reports rfi.
