Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk denied reports about the deployment of allied troops to Ukraine following a ceasefire. Tusk made this statement during a joint briefing with French President Emmanuel Macron on December 12, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"I also want to take this opportunity to stop speculation about the possible military presence of a country in Ukraine after a truce or peace is reached. Mr. President, you are aware of this, and we have talked about it. Decisions on Poland's actions will be made in Warsaw and only in Warsaw", - Tusk said.
It is worth recalling that French President Emmanuel Macron had arrived in Poland for talks on sending a peacekeeping contingent to Ukraine.
