Rescuers mitigated the consequences of russian attacks in western Ukraine — the Ternopil oblast, the Prykarpattia, and the Lviv oblast — the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) reported on December 13.
"This morning, December 13, russian forces carried out another massive missile strike on Ukrainian territory", - the report stated.
Specifically:
In the Ternopil oblast, a missile strike damaged an industrial facility, causing a large-scale fire. A total of 57 rescuers and 16 units of equipment were involved in eliminating the aftermath of the emergency.
In the Prykarpattia, the enemy attacked critical infrastructure. Thanks to the prompt work of rescuers, fires caused by the shelling were quickly extinguished. Mobile operational SES groups are working in various districts of the oblast to assess the consequences of falling debris.
In the Lviv oblast, 130 rescuers and 28 units of specialized equipment were deployed to the strike locations.
Preliminary reports indicate no casualties or injuries.
As previously reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the enemy struck Ukraine using, according to preliminary estimates, 93 missiles and nearly 200 drones on the morning of December 13.
