Over the past day, russian forces shelled settlements in Donetsk oblast seven times, delivering 3,244 strikes, reports Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, and regional police on January 9.
Russian forces targeted five settlements: the cities of Kostiantynivka, Lyman, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, and the village of Hryshyne, damaging 28 civilian structures, including 21 residential buildings.
In Lyman, russian troops used Smerch MLRS and artillery, damaging nine apartment buildings, eight private homes, an administrative building, two utility structures, a gas pipeline, and power lines.
Railway tracks were damaged in Kostiantynivka due to the strikes.
In Pokrovsk, drones targeted residential areas, damaging three private homes and a civilian vehicle.
In Hryshyne, artillery shelling damaged a private home.
No casualties were reported over the past day. An additional 186 people, including 19 children, were evacuated from the front line within 24 hours.
