Trump has no plan to end the war. He doesn’t know what to propose to Ukraine and russia – political analyst
Political expert Kostiantyn Matvienko believes that the newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump currently has no understanding of how to end the war in Ukraine, partly due to the stubbornness of russian dictator putin.
"I get the impression that Trump has no plan for Ukraine. Remember how Zelensky thought it would be easy to end the war by 'looking into the eyes', 'just stopping the shooting', and other things he said during his presidential campaign? Now Trump realizes that putin has dug in his heels, and Trump has no options for ending this war", - Matvienko said in an interview with OstroV.
The expert believes this is connected to the delayed visit of Special Representative Keith Kellogg to Ukraine.
"They don’t know what to propose to Ukraine and russia. Therefore, hoping that Trump will come and restore order is futile—everything will be decided on the battlefield", - the political expert noted.
