As reported by the Donetsk oblast police on January 14, a total of 2,879 enemy strikes on the frontline and residential areas were recorded in a single day.
Russian forces attacked seven settlements in the oblast: the cities of Lyman, Pokrovsk, Rodynske, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, and the villages of Velyka Novosilka, Andriivka. Eight civilian objects were damaged, including seven residential houses.
In Chasiv Yar, russian artillery strikes killed two civilians and damaged two private homes.
One person was injured by artillery shelling in Velyka Novosilka, and another in Andriivka.
In Pokrovsk, the occupiers dropped three FAB-250 bombs, damaging two apartment buildings and an educational institution.
In Rodynske, enemy fire damaged two apartment buildings; in Lyman, an apartment building and a power line were hit.
The Donetsk Oblast Military Administration reported that 214 people, including nine children, were evacuated from the frontline in the past day.
