A video is circulating online about the likely shooting of unarmed Ukrainian prisoners of war by russian military personnel. This was reported by Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets on January 23.
"In the video, the occupiers personally recorded their own crime - shooting six Ukrainian soldiers in the back who were captured. The video cuts off when a seventh soldier is lying on the ground, his fate is unknown. The shooting of each of those captured takes place in front of other comrades", - Lubinets noted.
The Ombudsman also added that in the video, the occupiers order Ukrainian soldiers to "lie down and shut up", and the "operator" of the crime says "One is mine", and then it is seen how he fires a series of bullets into the back of one of the prisoners of war.
"Once again, I am sending information about this crime to the UN and the ICRC. This fact must be recorded!", - Lubinets emphasized.
