As reported by Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Oblast Military Administration, on the morning of January 28, the enemy attacked Odesa and the region with strike drones and a missile.
“Our air defense forces continued intense combat operations. The enemy missile was destroyed. Debris from the downed drones damaged the windows of four residential apartment buildings and five country houses. In one residential courtyard in Odesa, 10 cars caught fire, but firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze. Additionally, a grain warehouse was damaged”, - Kiper stated.
According to him, four people were injured during the drone attack—a 91-year-old man was hospitalized, and the other victims received assistance on-site.
“All relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack. Law enforcement agencies are documenting the aftermath of another crime by russians against the civilian population of the Odesa oblast”, - Kiper concluded.
