This was stated by Ivan Sekach, head of the public relations service of the 110th Brigade, during a Ukrainian news TV marathon broadcast.
On the night of January 29, the DeepState portal reported that russian forces had occupied Velyka Novosilka and advanced near Pishchane, Andriivka, Nadiia, and Baranivka.
"At the moment, I cannot confirm what DeepState is claiming. The battles for Velyka Novosilka continue—small arms, infantry, artillery, everything. So, at this moment, I cannot confirm the information being spread by DeepState", - Sekach said.
According to the serviceman, the russians are unlikely to establish a foothold on the other side of the Mokri Yaly River, which separates Velyka Novosilka. Sekach assumes that the russian offensive in this sector of the front will be halted, after which the enemy will look for other locations to continue advancing.
