Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Mariano Grossi arrived in Ukraine on the evening of February 3, he announced on social media platform X.

"On my 11th visit to Ukraine since the start of the war, I am heading to the Kyiv substation, which is crucial for the safety of Ukrainian nuclear energy, to assess the damage and help prevent a nuclear accident", - he stated.

"An increasingly fragile grid poses a growing risk to all nuclear power plants, not just the Zaporizhzhia NPP", - the IAEA chief emphasized.


It was previously reported that IAEA representatives have noted loud explosions, machine gun fire, and a UAV attack near the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
