This was announced by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
"Ukraine is increasing the production of these systems and deploying fully robotic units within the combat brigades of the Armed Forces on the front line", - he stated.
It is noted that this project is based on the experience of trials conducted since the summer of 2024 in cooperation with military personnel.
At that time, unmanned ground systems proved their ability to perform a wide range of combat tasks:
- Conduct offensive and defensive operations
- Provide logistical support to units
- Evacuate the wounded from the battlefield
- Mine and demine territories.
"It is extremely important that the main suppliers of ground robotic systems are leading domestic companies. Ukrainian manufacturers have adapted their products to the conditions of modern warfare and the recommendations of combat units of the Defense Forces", - Umerov emphasized.
