At approximately 04:30 a.m., a series of explosions thundered in Kyiv. As a result of the attack, there are injured individuals and one fatality. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the attack in the Obolonskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts.
The Obolonskyi district. Destruction occurred in two office buildings, with a fire breaking out in one of them. The fire has been extinguished. One person was killed, and one was injured.
The Sviatoshynskyi district. A fire broke out on the roof of a high-rise building. The fire has been extinguished.
The Holosiivskyi district. A fire broke out in a two-story warehouse building. Firefighting efforts are still ongoing.
"A total of more than 80 rescuers and 17 firefighting and rescue units are currently working at the sites", - added the State Emergency Service.
