UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is prepared to deploy peacekeeping forces to Ukraine. He stated this to The Telegraph ahead of his meeting with European leaders in Paris.
"I do not say this lightly. I feel very deeply the responsibility associated with the potential threat to British servicemen. However, any role in helping to guarantee Ukraine's security is a role in ensuring the security of our continent and this country. The end of the war, whenever it comes, cannot just be a temporary pause before putin attacks again", - Starmer’s statement reads.
According to media reports, the meeting will also discuss the automatic accession of Ukraine to NATO in the event that russia violates a ceasefire.
