"As a result of a massive enemy strike on a densely populated area of the city, most of the houses are left without electricity, water, and heating. ... Fourteen schools, thirteen kindergartens, and a large residential district—more than 500 houses—are left without power and heating", - Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov reported on Telegram on February 19.
A children’s clinic and a kindergarten were severely damaged.
At least one person is reported injured.
"Today, February 19, schools and kindergartens without heating and electricity will not accept children until the situation improves. Heating centers and 'invincibility points' will be operational, where people can warm up, charge their devices, and have a cup of hot tea", - Trukhanov also wrote.
