On the night of February 20, russia once again launched a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine's gas infrastructure. This was reported by Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko.

According to him, production facilities were among those damaged, and as soon as the security situation allowed, specialists began assessing the damage and carrying out restoration work.

The goal of these attacks is to halt gas extraction needed for household needs and centralized heating, Halushchenko wrote on Facebook.

"While russia continues to openly lie about not attacking civilian critical infrastructure, we are witnessing multiple missiles deliberately targeting Ukrainian gas production sites. Such enemy actions once again confirm that russia is deliberately trying to inflict suffering on ordinary Ukrainians, plunging them into cold in the middle of winter. This is outright terrorism", - he said.

Ukraine’s Air Force reported today that russian forces attacked Ukraine overnight with 14 missiles and 161 drones.

"The information on the results of combat operations and the consequences of the missile strike will not be disclosed", - the Air Force noted.

Regarding drones, according to the military, 80 were shot down, while 78 were locationally lost.
