Russia categorically rejects the possibility of deploying European peacekeepers in Ukraine. As stated by russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, this decision is not up for discussion, and moscow has no intention of seeking anyone’s permission.
The russian official insists that there will be no cessation of hostilities along the contact line.
“We have a constitution”, - he declared, alluding to russia’s territorial claims and its unwillingness to compromise. According to illegally adopted amendments to the russian constitution, four Ukrainian oblasts are allegedly included in the federation. International law does not recognize either these “amendments” to the constitution or the fake “referendums” that the kremlin used as a basis to declare the annexation of these “new territories”.
Lavrov also stated that russia will not agree to any agreements that would lead to the remilitarization of Ukraine and hinted that moscow views any Western arms deliveries as a continuation of the conflict rather than a step toward its resolution.
