In total, russian forces shelled settlements in the Donetsk oblast and along the front line 3,298 times in a single day, reports the Donetsk oblast police on March 4.
The enemy targeted eight settlements: the cities of Kostiantynivka, Lyman, Pokrovsk, Sloviansk, Toretsk, and the villages of Hryshyne, Katerynivka, and Nova Poltavka. A total of 57 civilian objects were damaged, including 45 residential houses.
Pokrovsk was shelled three times by russian forces, including with a FAB-250 bomb. One civilian was killed, and an apartment building along with three private houses were damaged.
In Nova Poltavka, an artillery strike injured a civilian.
Kostiantynivka was hit with a FAB-250 bomb and artillery: 26 private houses, a garage, four power lines, and a gas pipeline were damaged.
Lyman was struck by russian Smerch MLRS, damaging seven private houses, two utility buildings, a power line, and a gas pipeline.
In Sloviansk, an enemy drone hit a residential area, damaging seven private houses and a business.
One private house was damaged in Ivanopillia, and another in Hryshyne.
