Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex has grown to $35 billion per year in domestic production during the full-scale war. As Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal noted, the defense sector has expanded 35 times, with artillery production tripling, armored personnel carriers increasing fivefold, anti-tank weapons doubling, and ammunition production growing 2.5 times.
"Ukraine’s defense industry is integrating with the global market. We are developing the so-called Danish model, where our partners pay for weapons produced in Ukraine for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Through this model, we attracted $1 billion in 2024: Denmark – $351 million, the European Union – $436 million, the United Kingdom – $67 million, and Norway – $45 million", - Shmyhal said at a press conference on March 4.
As previously reported, Trump has suspended military aid to Ukraine.
