70% of Americans do not consider Ukraine responsible for starting the war, which russia is waging treacherously. A poll on this topic was conducted by Reuters/IPSOS on March 3-4.

According to the survey data, only 7% of respondents believe Ukraine is to blame for the war, while 23% either did not know the answer or did not respond to the question.

Additionally, among Democrats, 81% said Ukraine does not bear major responsibility for starting the war, while among Republicans, that figure was 62%. 11% of Republican respondents believe Ukraine is more to blame for starting the war.

Furthermore, 50% of respondents do not believe that the U.S. should receive a share of Ukraine’s mineral resources, while 46% voted in favor of transferring Ukrainian mineral deposits to the U.S. 4% of respondents either did not know the answer or did not respond to the question.
