As a result of negotiations in Saudi Arabia on March 11, the U.S. has immediately lifted the pause on intelligence sharing with Ukraine and is restoring security assistance to Ukraine. This is stated in a joint declaration released after the meeting in Jeddah, Voice of America reports.
Commenting on the negotiations, U.S. National Security Advisor to President Donald Trump, Michael Waltz, stated that the restoration of aid takes effect immediately.
U.S. officials have taken steps to convey to russia that "reciprocity from the russian side is the key to achieving peace", according to the joint statement.
It was also reported that Trump stated that if russia cannot be compelled to cease fire, the war will continue.
