Any agreements on ending the war in Ukraine must be made on russian, not American, terms. This was stated by the deputy chairman of the Federation Council of russia, Konstantin Kosachev. He was commenting on the 30-day ceasefire proposal that the U.S. and Ukraine agreed upon the day before in Saudi Arabia, Telegram channel “The Moscow Times” reports.
According to Kosachev, during the negotiations, Washington imposed its conditions on Kyiv. "The Ukrainians agree to whatever they are told. And they bow and fawn at the same time. Zelensky is in complete defense", - Kosachev said.
He insists that things "will be different with russia" because the russian army is allegedly advancing in Ukraine.
"This is not empty bravado but an understanding that real agreements are still being written there, on the front lines. That is something Washington must understand", - Kosachev stated.
He called for "not interfering with russian-American negotiations with outside commentary" in the current situation. "Victory will be ours", - concluded the deputy chairman of the Federation Council of russia.
