The enemy is using aerial bombs and drones that can reach any corner of Pokrovsk, resulting in casualties and injuries in recent days. This was stated by the head of the Pokrovsk City Military Administration, Serhii Dobriak, as reported by Skhidny Variant.
According to him, 95% of the Pokrovsk community critical infrastructure has already been destroyed, and 80% of the housing stock is destroyed as well. Shelling has intensified.
"Currently, only two grocery stores are operating in Pokrovsk. Pharmacies have ceased operations. There are stationary points for distributing purified drinking water and public wells for general use in the city. Only technical water is being delivered to residents", - the administration reports.
Earlier, on March 12, as a result of enemy attacks on Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, three civilians were killed and two others injured.
According to the Pokrovsk Military Administration, evacuation from the city continues with the participation of the White Angel police evacuation team, charitable foundations, and volunteers. As of March 10, 2025, 2,593 people remain in Pokrovsk.
"Due to constant shelling, the evacuation process is becoming more difficult. In some areas, people have to walk to evacuation transport. The number of evacuees has increased, and people are actively leaving. Relatives are asking volunteers to rescue those who still remain in the community. Last week, around 500 people left the community", - said Serhii Dobriak.
